Referring to my despatch No.131 of the 27th 198) March, 1925, and to your telegram of the 22nd May, I have

the honour to forward P/1 forms completed by Mir. D. E. Wood.

In this connection I would refer you to my Confidential despatch of the 12th April and to your telegran of the 25th May, 1923, and would enquire whether it is your desire that the usual forms (P/1) of application for appointment to the Colonial Service should be forwarded in cases where the initial emoluments of the post do not exceed £300 or $5000 per annum. The ruling approvel by your telegram has been embodied in General Order No.4.
